    Dorper Lane was first created as a livestock photography passion project by Katelynn Parsons during her time at the University of Northern Colorado. She has worked in social media marketing and event planning for over five years and uses her talents to connect people through in-person fundraising and events serving local business owners and artists.

    Our feed is adjusted regularly and handmade on-site by our ruminant nutritionist, Dr. Clinton Parsons, PhD. Clint has worked in ruminant agriculture for over thirty years and currently develops feed for small and large feedlots across six states.

    OPERATIONS and FINANCIAL MANAGER

    Kim has worked as an educator for over twenty-five years and splits her time between school and the farm. She uses her talents in administration to wrangle our moms and new arrivals and run a no-nonsense herd and business in and outside of lambing season.

Dorper Lane is a family-owned business dedicated to building community and making connections in rural spaces through agriculture.

Our Dorper-Katahdin sheep are raised on a unique feed blend developed by our resident nutritionist, Dr. Clinton Parsons, PhD, and cared for by Dorper Lane’s operations manager, Kimberly Parsons, and Dorper Lane’s executive director, Katelynn Parsons. Our sheep are available for off-the-hoof purchases by contacting Katelynn Parsons or seasonally at the Hamilton Commission Company.

In addition to our agriculture sector, Dorper Lane looks forward to hosting and sponsoring community events featuring local businesses in and around Hamilton, TX.
